Description: Rather than hiring employees, Teryx has developed an Agent concept that allows independent contractors to work the hours and clients they prefer. This position is best designed for a Technical Consultant that has a broad range of skills rather than being an expert in one specific area.

Technical Requirements:

-           Extensive knowledge of PC operating systems (XP and Vista), PC hardware

-           Networking experience

-          Some server experience (Windows 2000, 2003, Small Business Server)

-          Ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware and software problems

-           Strong verbal communication skills

-           Entrepreneurial spirit: Able to work independently & be self-motivated

-           Answering customer support requests in a timely fashion

-           Strong critical thinking skills

-           Strong customer service and teamwork skills

-           Able to work well in a constantly changing environment

-          3+ years of hands-on experience

 

Additional Skills:

-           MCP, MCSE, or A+ Certifications preferred

-           Web and Mail server experience

-           Basic web design
